Salman Khan as an Undercover RAW Agent

Now, here’s a role that’s gonna test Salman Khan’s mettle as an actor. It doesn’t require the brute force of Chulbul Pandey, nor the charm of Prem. What it needs is subtle nuances. Will Salman be able to deliver?

In his next film, director Kabir Khan (of New York fame) is going to take Salman Khan to a genre the superstar has so far avoided. The movie, starring Katrina Kaif opposite Salman, will have Salman playing an undercover agent of the Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing), we hear.

Of course, Kabir Khan is keeping tight-lipped about Salman’s role, but the tinsel tattle suggests Salman will play a very realistic character of an agent who is totally inconspicuous but on a very important mission. Such a character can’t be allowed the cinematic liberties of dancing and mushy-romancing. Rather Salman will have to underplay his usual flamboyant self and also prepare beforehand for the character, something Salman isn’t known to do.
