American reality TV star and one of the sexiest ladies in the world, Kim Kardashian is engaged to her boyfriend of six months.

The news broke out with the announcement of the June issue of People magazine that has Kim and her boyfriend Kris Humphries - who plays basketball for New Jersey Nets - on the cover.

Kim, 30, tells People magazine that last week when she entered her Beverly Hills home, she was “shocked” to see Humphries, 26, bent on his knee with the words “will you marry me” spelled out in rose petals.

Reports say Kris gave Kim a 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring. It is estimated to cost around 2 million dollars.

Kim’s sister Khloe expressed her jubilance of Kim’s engagement on Twitter.
