How Katrina landed the role in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Katrina Kaif was not on director Zoya Akhtar’s wishlist for the role of a feisty girl in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Zeroing down on the leading lady of the film wasn’t an easy task for Zoya Akhtar. Despite auditioning many girls, she couldn’t find anyone who suited the role.

“We had auditioned a lot of women before roping in Katrina. We needed a half Indian and half Caucasian girl, who would be willing to ride a bike, scuba dive and is physically fit. I tested a lot of people from New York and London but nothing really interested me,” Zoya is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Kat had performed a superbly for the movie..
