Love Brewing Between Bipasha Basu and Rana

The eight-year-long relationship between Bipasha Basu and John Abraham has apparently come to an end, thanks to this handsome hunk from the south - Rana Daggubati.

Something indeed seems to be brewing between Bipasha Basu and the Telugu actor Rana Daggubati. If the tales of their sparkling chemistry on the sets of Dum Maaro Dum -- in which they play a lovey-dovey couple -- were not enough, the special bond between the two was visible for anyone to see at the press conference in Hyderabad on Thursday to promote the film.

Rana was over-protective of Bipasha, both in words and action. How? When a journo quizzed Bipasha with a question that referred to Rana as ‘the John Abraham of the south’, Rana quickly jumped to her defence and in a matter-of-factly way told the reporter not to ask any personal questions.

As further proof, Rana did not leave Bipasha’s side even after the conference and courtly escorted her even though bodyguards were around to do the needful. Rana was careful in not letting the fans come to close to Bips.

Prima facie, there is no doubt that the two are very good friends. Bipasha often retweets Daggubati’s posts on her Twitter page. Moreover, he is believed to be her 4 am friend and is always around when she needs him. And to all this if we consider how John has been making solo appearances on chat shows when Bips ought to have been by his side, it adds up to a picture where Bipasha has moved on from John to Rana.

But, from a cynical point of view, Bipasha and Rana’s growing affinity might be just a clever publicity stunt for Dum Maaro Dum which releases in April.
