Bipasha Basu shows Attitude, loses Item Song

Bipasha Basu had a golden chance to work again with the Bhatts’ banner Vishesh Films that was instrumental in launching her in films. But the actress murdered the chance by her pricey attitude.

Mukesh Bhatt, the producer of Murder 2, is unhappy over Bipasha’s impudence. He says that it was Bipasha only who had recently expressed her wish to work with the banner again. So when they offered her the lead role in Murder 2 -- sequel of the 2004 hit Murder -- Bipasha dithered because she wanted more footage for the female lead. The role eventually went to Jacqueline Fernandez.

And when the Bhatts offered her the item song in the same film, Bipasha imposed the condition that she would only work with the choreographer duo Bosco-Caesar. Though Mukesh Bhatt did not plan to rope in Bosco-Caesar, he approached the choreographers and was stumped by their money demand.

According to Bhatt, Bosco-Caesar get paid Rs. 4 lakh per song, but they demanded Rs. 7 lakh from the Bhatts. Not just this they wanted the tea boy to be paid Rs. 1000 per day.
