Latest Bollywood Gossip - Ranbir's Girl Nargis Fakhri can't Stay Hidden

She doesn’t have an item song to boast of and neither a film. Then too, the beautiful Nargis Fakhri is the talk of the town, courtesy Ranbir Kapoor. Now it’s heard that her recent public outing with the Kapoor lad has miffed director Imtiaz Ali, who has asked her to stay away from public glare till Rockstar releases.

Nargis is Imtiaz’s find. Though this Kingfisher calendar gal has no experience in acting, Imtiaz was sure that she would be perfect for Rockstar and signed her for the film. Nargis’ fresh face is the USP of Rockstar, and as per sources, there was a plan to bring her out in public at the time of the film’s promotion.

Now Imtiaz fears that the buzz around Nargis might fade out soon while the movie’s release is due in August this year. Nargis was once spotted with Ranbir’s mom Neetu Singh at a restaurant and later she was seen along with Ranbir and his friends outside a city multiplex.

In fact, sources even claim that it also doesn’t help Imtiaz that his lead pair is seen together in public. “The fact that they are dating makes things really awkward for the Rockstar director,” a source is quoted as saying.

Imtiaz has now asked Nargis to keep a low profile for the film’s sake. It can be recalled that earlier during the release of Love Aaj Kal, Imitiaz had the same strategy planned for the debutante Giselle Monteiro, who, despite being a Brazilian essayed a Punjabi girl in LAK. People got the glimpse of the real Giselle, a model, only when LAK hit the theatres. In fact, her name too was not made public until the film’s release.

Guess Imtiaz’s plan to build up same curiosity around Nargis has gone for a toss, thanks to her movie date with Ranbir.
